Open the app and scan
At any gas pump, ATM, or payment terminal, open SkimGuard and tap Scan. The app analyzes wireless signals in the area in seconds using your phone's built-in Bluetooth capabilities.
Classify and rate the location
Our patent-pending algorithm classifies every detected signal against known skimmer signatures and rates the location: Verified, Aging, Stale, or Alert. You see the result immediately.
Protect yourself and the community
If a skimmer is detected, you're warned instantly. Your scan contributes to the community safety map, warning everyone nearby before they swipe. Every scan makes the network stronger.

SkimGuard uses a four-tier safety scale based on scan recency and detection results. The rating updates continuously as community members scan nearby locations.
